This is the shocking moment Watchdog revealed how quickly a child's fancy dress costume could become engulfed in flames.



Strictly Come Dancing presenter Claudia Winkleman appeared on the BBC consumer champion show to bravely speak out about the potential dangers of children's costumes after her daughter was left badly burned last Halloween when her costume caught fire.



Claudia has spoken out to raise awareness and to help prevent accidents of the same kind so other families don't have to go through the same thing as hers did.



The shocking demonstration saw a child's fancy dress costume set alight and going up in flames in a matter of seconds backstage at the show.
