Love-Love: Drake and Serena Williams May Be More than Friends ere have been rumors for most of the summer that the rulers of the tennis and rap worlds, respectively—Serena Williams and Drake—were perhaps romantically involved. Drake was seen at most of Williams’s Wimbledon matches this June, and was described as “tearful” earlier this month, per reports, after a fireworks display went off following a Williams loss in Toronto. Following her semi-final victory at Wimbledon, Williams was asked, in that cagey reporter-y way, about her relationship with Drake and whether the rapper might be a “lucky mascot” for her. She, according to the AP account, ”rolled her eyes,” and then said (Drake was present at the conference, as well), “We’ve been friends for, like, so many years TMZ has just run an 11-picture slide show of photos that would seem to confirm Drake and Serena are, in fact, “a thing”! That is, unless they are just platonic friends who like to cuddle and nuzzle each other’s necks. The photos show the pair, quite entangled, as they dined in Cincinnati Sunday night, following Williams’s victory this weekend at the Cincinnati Masters event. The site says they celebrated in a private room in the back of the restaurant, where they “couldn’t keep their hands and lips off of each other.” #Serena Williams
